[Music] Huckabee: I'm Mike Huckabee and I approve this message because Iowans have the right to know the truth about Mitt Romney's dishonest attacks on me -- and even an American hero, John McCain.

Male Announcer: Romney's record?  Over 700 million in new taxes...left office with a deficit...no executions, supported gun control...and Romney's government-mandated health plan provided a $50 co-pay for abortion.

Huckabee: If a man's dishonest to obtain a job, he'll be dishonest on the job.  Iowans deserve better.

Notes This ad was produced by the Huckabee campaign in response to Romney's ad "Ready."  On Dec. 31, 2007 Huckabee held a press conference where he denounced the ad.  Speaking to a crowded room of reporters in Des Moines, he said his campaign had produced an attack ad but would not run it.  He then famously proceeded to show this ad to the many reporters in the room.  Also Brooks Jackson of FactCheck.org reported that the ad did run in Iowa at least ten times, although his campaign had tried to stop it.
