[Music] Male Announcer:  In Chicago.   In Saint Louis.  And Seattle, the American people are demanding a timetable for withdrawal from Iraq.

In Baghdad and Basra and Tikrit, the Iraqi people...and now the Iraqi Prime minister are also demanding a timetable.

But John McCain doesn't want a timetable.

He'll spend hundreds of billions of dollars more…to keep our keep our troops in Iraq for years and years.

John McCain.  It's time to end the war and move on.

Notes According to the press release...

A new television ad highlights John McCain's intransigence on timelines for redeployment of troops from Iraq, even in the face of calls from the Iraqi prime minister to do just that. Early this week, Iraq's Prime Minister called for the US to set a date for withdrawal. The call from the Iraqis comes on top of similar American sentiment and amid concerns that Senator McCain is willing to continue spending $10-12 billion each month in Iraq while gas prices, home foreclosures and unemployment plague our domestic economy.

"This week, even the Prime Minister of Iraq joined the chorus calling for a timetable for the withdrawal of US troops, yet John McCain continues to promote an indefinite American occupation there" said Nita Chaudhary, Campaign Director for MoveOn. "He and President Bush seem happy to take potshots at MoveOn and Congress instead of providing the leadership Americans and Iraqis want to find an end to this war."

MoveOn will spend $100,000 to run the ad on national cable.
