Obama (voiceover): I'm Barack Obama and I approve this message.

[Music] Male Announcer: Call it "Country Club Economics."

How many houses does he own?

John McCain says he can't even remember anymore.

Well, it's seven

No wonder McCain just said the fundamentals of our economy are strong.  And anyone making less than five-million-dollars-a-year is middle-class.

Maybe McCain thinks this economy is working...for folks like him.

But how're things goin'...for you?

Notes: This ad was released on the day that Obama outlined his "New Energy for America Plan" in a speech in Lansing, MI.  McCain campaign spokesman Tucker Bounds responded with this statement:

Notes: Another take on the theme initiated with yesterday's ad "Seven."

According to the press release...

The ad highlights John McCain’s “Country Club Economics” and his desire to offer more of the same economic policies we’ve gotten from President Bush. Senator McCain can’t even remember how many homes he owns and thinks anyone making less than $5 million is just middle class, which explains why he has little relief to offer working families struggling to make ends meet.
