Wilmington, DE (July 15, 2007): The Biden for President Campaign today filed total contributions for the second quarter ending June 30, 2007 of $2,451,179.70 with the Federal Election Commission, bringing total money raised to Biden for President to $6,455,194.42 million dollars since the formation of Biden for President on February 1, 2007.  The Campaign ended the quarter with a cash balance of over $2.75 million.

"Given the size of our home-state, this is a solid showing for the Biden campaign," said Luis Navarro, campaign manager for Biden for President.  "We're confident that Senator Biden's national security credentials and plan to end the war in Iraq will continue to distinguish him in the Democratic field and allow us to raise the necessary funds to compete in the early primaries and caucuses."

"With the publication of his book and the heightened attention being given to the real choice people have to make, Joe Biden is about to get a lot better known by the American people," continued Navarro.  "That attention and what we expect will be rising poll numbers in Iowa this fall will give us the boost we need to raise the money we need to compete effectively down the stretch."
