| June 12, 2006--Around the time of the conference the number of U.S. military deaths in Iraq reached 2,500. Activist Joan Stallard distributed many of these pink slips for attendees to put in their badges. She was also promoting a procession in memory of the thousands killed in Iraq to be held immediately following the conference. |
