Campaign for America's Future's "Take Back America" Conference, June 12-14, 2006

June 12, 2006--The opening luncheon of the conference featured National Wildlife Federation president Larry J. Schweiger, actor Robert Redford, United Steelworkers president Leo Gerard and Apollo Alliance president Jerome Ringo. Redford presented Gerard with the Apollo Alliance's "Right Stuff" award. Less than a week earlier the Steelworkers and the Sierra Club announced a "Blue-Green Alliance" to promote good jobs, a clean environment, and a safer world.
