June 13, 2006--Businessman Ned Lamont, who is challenging Sen. Joseph Lieberman in the August 8 Connecticut Democratic primary, held a packed reception in one of the hotel suites. His challenge has forced Lieberman to consider the possibility of running as an independent. Democracy for America chairman Jim Dean and MoveOn.org Washington director Tom Matzzie introduced Lamont.
