"We must come together to win," Rev. Jesse Jackson declared. "When we fight back, we always win. Don't let them break your spirit," he said.

Anna Berger, President of the Change To Win coalition and Secretary-Treasurer of the SEIU, emphasized the need to pass the Employee Free Choice Act.

"We can beat the Republicans but only if people understand what our core values are," DNC Chairman Howard Dean stated. Dean said those values are fairness, strength and toughness, and fiscal responsibility.
