PRESS RELEASE from Arkansas Secretary of State

(LITTLE ROCK, AR)—Secretary Daniels today certified the results from the February 5 Presidential Primary Election following the receipt and verification of election results from each county.

The final results by county are available on the Arkansas Secretary of State’s election night reporting website, www.arelections.org. According to these official results, turnout was 35 percent with 544,170 registered voters participating in this election.

The following is a breakdown of official vote totals by candidate for U.S. President:

Democratic Party Candidates
• Joe Biden, Democrat, 515 votes (0%)
• Hillary Clinton, Democrat, 220,136 votes (70%)
• Christopher J. Dodd, Democrat, 308 votes (0%)
• John Edwards, Democrat, 5,873 votes (2%)
• Mike Gravel, Democrat, 325 votes (0%)
• Dennis J. Kucinich, Democrat, 393 votes (0%)
• Barack Obama, Democrat, 82,476 votes (26%)
