Topeka, KS — The Kansas Republican Presidential Caucus field
is now complete with 7 candidates for President of the United States appearing
on the Kansas ballot February 9, 2008.
Kansas GOP Chairman Kris Kobach said: “I’m pleased to see so many respected
candidates for President have decided to devote their resources and attention
to the Kansas Republican Caucus. From important leaders in Congress to
respected former Governors, the GOP field is a strong one.
“With Kansas being the first contest following ‘Super Tuesday’ and
with different winners of each of the first three Presidential contests
in Iowa, Wyoming and New Hampshire, each candidate is realizing the importance
of their participation in a strong Republican state like Kansas. I look
forward to working with each campaign in the coming weeks and encourage
every Kansan to get involved with a campaign and help support the next
Republican President of the United States.”
