IATSE Stage Employees Local 720 in Las Vegas Endorses Clinton

LAS VEGAS—Hillary Clinton today received the endorsement of the IATSE Stage Employees Local 720 in Las Vegas. Chartered in 1939, IATSE Local 720 includes approximately 4,500 members and affiliated workers involved with the convention and trade show industry, theatrical productions and live entertainment events in southern Nevada. Their work includes: rigging, lighting, audio, video, make-up, special effects and costumes.

“We believe it is in the best interest of all working men and women and their families to support Hillary for President,” said Local 720 President Hal Ritzer. “There is no other candidate who brings the strength of character, experience, and commitment to working families like Hillary Clinton.”

“I am honored to have the support of members of the IATSE Local 720 whose hard work and creativity ensure the curtains rise to resounding applause across every stage and event in Las Vegas,” said Clinton. “I look forward to working with the men and women of the IATSE Local 720 to bring our message of change across Nevada.”

Clinton has received strong support from major unions representing nearly four million working families nationwide. Her endorsements include the Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers (SMART) Union;  Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union; International Associations of Machinists and Aerospace Workers; Transportation Communications Union; National Association of Letter Carriers; International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers; American Federation of Teachers; the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees; and the Amalgamated Transit Union.
