National Black Republican Association. NBRA had a vigorous presence
at CPAC and distributed many copies of its magazine, The Black Republican,
featuring a cover story on Condoleezza Rice ("Most Powerful Woman in the
World"). The evening before CPAC began, NBRA held a "Celebration
of Pioneers" fundraising banquet, commemorating the 150th anniversary of
the first Republican Party convention as well as the 150th anniversary
of the birth of Booker T. Washington. |
