(announced July 11, 2007)  Represents District 1 (North Las Vegas).  Democratic nominee for state controller in 2002.  Served three terms in the state Assembly, 1997-2001.  President and owner of Vegas/Home Plumbing Service, Inc. and of Champion Tile and Marble.  Experience includes founding stockholder and director of Nevada First Bank and senior vice president for a financial services company.  Grew up and educated in Nevada.
