December 29, 2006--The media universe continues to expand.  (Top) WMUR-TV news anchor Scott Spradling helps set the white balance before the town hall meeting.  Spradling joined the Manchester TV station in mid-1996 as a general assignment reporter after working for several years at WGIR, the Manchester radio station.  (more)
Associated Press photographer Jim Cole has covered New Hampshire primaries since 1980.
Tim Stone covered the event for Portsmouth Community Radio, WSCA-LP 106.1 FM, a low power FM station that went on air in Sept. 2004.
Chuck Olsen from Minneapolis said he was covering Edwards' announcement tour as a correspondent for Rocketboom ("a three minute daily videoblog based in New York City.")  However, during the course of a short interview he seemed to say that he was also helping the Edwards campaign:

I'm a videoblogger so I basically do documentary type video and put it online.  So I've been doing that for Rocketboom and for the Edwards campaign since they announced in New Orleans.  And I'm just kind of capturing the scene around the campaign and inside the campaign, just talking to people about Edwards, interviewing some of the people that are part of the campaign staff, trying to capture the feel of what's going on for these few days., since they're kind of momentous, and just post it online to the Edwards website and also to Rocketboom.

Question: And so you flew down from Minnesota to New Orleans and covered that from the beginning when he was walking around and shoveling?

Olsen: Correct.  Yes.  Even before that.  He's actually been doing that since before there were any press around.

It's been pretty amazing bing that close to the candidate, because I think he is a pretty authentic guy.  He walks the walk so to speak.

Question: And did you fly on the plane with him?

Olsen: I did, yeah.  Flying in the jet, that was crazy.  I've never been in a private jet before so it was very exciting.  There's a little anecdote that somebody in the campaing said, that if it was like John Kerry he would have been--  We had a very successful event in Iowa where there were a lot of people showed up and had a town hall meeting, so after that the staff was very excited and smoebody like John Kerry might have been in the back of the plane sort of like keeping to themselves with a couple of staffers, but Edwards was just with everybody else, kind of sharing the moment.  He's just kind of a regular guy.  So that was just an interesting anecdote from somebody in the campaign who's seen a lot of this kind of stuff.
