-On Jan. 31, 2007 the exploratory committee announced that "nearly 300 elected officials and key Republicans throughout New Jersey have signed on to support Mayor Giuliani," including 9 of the 18 Republican State Senators, 12 of the 32 Republican Assemblymen and 11 of the 21 County Chairmen.

-On March 9, 2007 the exploratory committee announced a second wave of "more than 150 additional New Jerseyans committed to supporting Mayor Giuliani."  The 446 (279 + 167) announced supporters include 12 of New Jersey's 21 County Chairmen, 10 of 18 Republican State Senators and 13 of 32 Republican State Assemblymen.
