October 19, 2007--To open his speech, Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA) talked about how he helped to save the cross at the Mt. Soledad Veterans Memorial.  Thereafter he delivered his standard stump speech, in which he traces a flight across the United States and closes citing letters written by his father and son.  He vowed,
"...as president of the United States, I will stop China from cheating on trade.  I will bring back high-paying manufacturing jobs to this country.  And I will restore the arsenal of democracy."
Ed Roczey of Alpine, Calif. (San Diego area) continued his efforts to spread the word about Duncan Hunter's presidential campaign. >
