Elected the youngest Attorney General in Nebraska’s history in 2002 and
ran unopposed for re-election in 2006. Previously ran a law practice
in Omaha and served for six years in the Nebraska Legislature. Bruning
received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Nebraska.
Born and raised in Lincoln.
