Governor in 2006; very narrowly lost run-off.  Elected to the State Senate in 1998 and served until resigning in 2006 to run for Lt. Governor.  Attorney in private practice in Tulsa for about five years.  J.D. from University of Tulsa, 1993.  B.A. degrees from Georgetown College.

(announced Dec. 27, 2007)  Started Humphreys Real Estate Investments in 1989 and is chairman.  Served two terms as Mayor of Oklahoma City; elected in 1998 and re-elected in 2002.  Sought the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate in 2004, but lost to Jim Coburn.  Built a distribution company with his brothers from 1972-89.  1972 graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance.
