On the evening of December 26 he plans a Meet Fred Thompson at The Windrow in Creston.
On December 27 he plans to do a live interview with Jan Mickelson at the FAIR Congressional Task Force "Talk Radio Row" event at the Des Moines Marriott Downtown in in Des Moines; hold a Meet Fred Thompson at Friends of Fred Thompson Iowa headquarters in Urbandale; do a radio town hall event at hosted by Kate Garner at Redman's Pizza & Steak House in Osceola; tour downtown Chariton and drop by the Chariton Leader; and do a Meet Fred Thompson at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum in Knoxville.
On December 28 he plans to do a radio town hall event hosted by KNIA/KRLS's Bob Leonard at Smokey Row Coffee House in Pella; tour downtown Oskaloosa and drop by the Oskaloosa Herald; hold a Meet Fred Thompson at Hotel Ottumwa in Ottumwa; tour downtown Fairfield and drop by the Fairfield Daily Ledger; and do a Meet Fred Thompson at Alphas on the Riverfront in Fort Madison.
On December 29 he plans to do a radio town hall event hosted by KBUR's JK Martin at the Port of Burlington Welcome Center in Burlington; do a Meet Fred Thompson at The Coffee Corner in Washington; tour downtown Williamsburg and drop by the Williamsburg Journal Tribune; tour downtown Montezuma and drop by the Montezuma Republican; and hold a Meet Fred Thompson at the Park Centre Retirement Community in Newton.
On December 30 he plans a Meet Fred Thompson at Olde Main Brewing Company in Ames; a Meet Fred Thompson at Country Kitchen in Webster City; and a house party at a private residence on Glendale Park Drive in Hampton.
On December 31 he plans a radio town hall hosted by KCHA/KCZE's Scott Lane at the Charles City Library; a tour of downtown Allison and drop by the Butler County Tribune-Journal; and do a meet and greet at the King Tower CafŽ in Tama.

On December 20 he did a Meet Fred Thompson at Carroll Country Club in Carroll; toured downtown Denison and drop by the Denison Review-Bulletin; participated in a radio town hall event hosted by KSOM's Tom Robinson at Family Table of Atlantic, Inc. in Atlantic; toured downtown Missouri Valley and dropped by Missouri Valley Times-News; and held a Meet Fred Thompson at Bayliss Park Hall in Council Bluffs.
On December 21 he did a Meet Fred Thompson at The Daily Grind in Sioux City; participated in a radio town hall event hosted by KDCR's John Slegers at the Dordt College-West Commons in Sioux Center; toured downtown Sheldon and drop by Northwest Iowa Review; toured downtown Spencer and drop by the Spencer Daily Reporter; and held a Meet Fred Thompson at Webster County Republican headquarters in Fort Dodge.

On October 2 he did an editorial board meeting with Des Moines Register; a Meet Fred Thompson at Webster County Republican Party Headquarters in Fort Dodge; a Coffee with Fred Thompson at the Sweetheart Bakery in Clinton; and a Meet Fred Thompson at the Coralville Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Coralville.
On October 3 he toured Lincolnway Energy in Nevada; and did a Lunch with Fred Thompson at Midway Motor Lodge in Dubuque.

Fred Thompson visited Iowa on September 6-8, 2007, making the first stops on his announcement tour via bus ("United by Our Core Beliefs").  On September 6 he spoke at the Polk County Convention Complex in Des Moines; and did a Meet Fred Thompson at Bayliss Park in Council Bluffs.  On September 7 he held a town hall at the Sioux City Convention Center in Sioux City; made an unannounced stop at Bob's Diner in LeMars; and held a town hall at Music Man Square in Mason City.  On September 8 he held a town hall at the Cedar Rapids Marriott in Cedar Rapids; and a Meet Fred Thompson at Centennial Park in Davenport; he then headed to New Hampshire.
