John McCain visited Iowa on January 2-3, 2008.  On January 2 he rallied at Dubuque Jet Center, Dubuque Regional Airport Hanger in Dubuque; rallied at Assumption High School gym in Davenport; and rallied at his campaign headquarters on 70th Street in Urbandale.  On the morning and into the very early afternoon of January 3 he did a meet and greet at Frontier Bank in Rock Rapids; a meet and greet at Casey's Bakery in Sioux Center; a meet and greet at the Blue Bunny Ice Cream Parlor in Le Mars; and a meet and greet at Aalfs Public Library in Sioux City.  [then to New Hampshire]

On the evening of December 26 he held a town hall meeting at The School for the Deaf in Council Bluffs.

Bud Day, former Sen. Phil Gramm and Mrs. Roberta McCain at the Clarion Hotel in Sioux City; and a town hall meeting with Col. Bud Day, former Sen. On October 24 he met with the Des Moines Register editorial board; and spoke at a U.S. Center for Citizen Diplomacy Presidential Forum at the Des Moines Embassy Club at the Ruan Center in Des Moines.
On October 25 he held a town hall in The Commons at Dordt College in Sioux Center; did a meet and greet at J & J Cafe in Le Mars; met with the Sioux City Journal editorial board; and participated in a Divided We Fail “Candidate Forum on Health & Financial Security” at the Orpheum Theater in Sioux City.
On October 26 he did an event with Col. John McCain visited Iowa on September 11-12, 2007, starting a weeklong "No Surrender Tour" of Iowa, NH and SC (McCain and veterans rallied support for the troops and their mission in Iraq).  Early evening on September 11 he held a "No Surrender" rally at B.P.I. Hanger, Sioux Gateway Airport/Col. Bud Day Field in Sioux City.  On September 12 he held a "No Surrender" rally at VFW Post 737 in Council Bluffs; stopped at The Downtowner cafe in Atlantic; held a BBQ lunch and "No Surrender" rally at AmVets Post 2 in Des Moines; and held a "No Surrender" rally at American Legion Post 138 in Waterloo.

John McCain visited Iowa on September 2-3, 2007.  On September 2 he spoke at house party outside the home of Lynn and Claire Handorf in Gladbrook; and at a house party at the home of of Rick and Janet Young in Jewell.  On September 3 he spoke at the dedication of the Veterans Monument dedication at Centennial Park in Neola; walked in the Labor Day Parade in Neola; and participated in the Labor Day Parade in Essex.

John McCain visited Iowa on August 4-6, 2007.  On the morning of August 4 he held a town hall meeting at Neveln Community Resource Center in Ankeny.  On August 5 he participated in the ABC News "This Week" Republican Presidential Debate at Drake University in Des Moines; appeared at a house party at the home of Johnson County chair Bob Anderson in Swisher; and appeared at a house party at the home of Carrie and Pete Peterman (she is the sister of Mark Salter) in Bettendorf.  At noon on August 6 he delivered a speech hosted by Cedar Rapids Rotary at the Crowne Plaza Cedar Rapids in Cedar Rapids.

McCain.  He then gets on the line and takes questions.)

John McCain visited Iowa on June 1-2, 2007.  He held a town hall meeting in the cafeteria at Nationwide Agribusiness Insurance in Des Moines on the afternoon of June 1.  On June 2 he did a breakfast and town hall meeting in the Banquet Hall at Le Mars Municipal Golf Course in Le Mars; stopped for ice cream at Blue Bunny in Le Mars; and in the afternoon, did a reception and town hall meeting at The Inn at Okoboji.

John McCain visited Iowa on October 18, 2006.  He arrived on the night of October 17 after an evening event in South Dakota.  On October 18 he attended a breakfast for Congressman Steve King at the Clarion Hotel in Sioux City; attended a luncheon for congressional candidate Jeff Lamberti at the Wakonda Club in Des Moines; toured the Lincolnway Energy ethanol plant in Nevada; and was a guest on "Hardball with Chris Matthews" at Iowa State University in Ames as part of Hardball's College Tour series.

>Sen. John McCain visited Iowa on August 15-16, 2006.  On August 15 he appeared at a lunch fundraiser for Rep. Danny Carroll at The Old Glove Factory in Grinnell; visited the State Fair in Des Moines; and appeared at a "fun raising party" in support of State Rep. Bill Schickel at the home of Dan and Deb Latham in Mason City.  On the morning of August 16 he appeared at a breakfast for State House candidates Doug Struyk and Scott Belt at Iowa Western Community College cafeteria in Council Bluffs.
