October 22, 2005--Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-TN) keynoted the Republican Party of Iowa's 5th Annual Ronald Reagan Dinner in Des Moines. [prepared remarks] The party planned to use funds raised at the dinner to register new Republicans, identify independent voters and increase absentee ballot efforts in the 2006 elections. |
The next morning Sen. Frist went for a run along the Des Moines River with Doug Gross, the 2002 Republican gubernatorial nominee and an attorney at Brown, Winick, Graves, et al.. |
