| July 30, 2006--Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-TN) spoke at a reception for Iowa State House candidate Matt Reisetter at Reisetter's boyhood home in Cedar Falls. Reisetter is challenging freshman incumbent Rep. Bob Kressig (D) to represent District 19. He aims "to bring an independent-minded, family-oriented, character-based perspective to the political arena." Sen. Chuck Grassley and Iowa GOP co-chair Leon Moseley also spoke at the event. |  |
