May 26, 2006--On the second day of a three-day trip to Iowa, Gov. George Pataki began the day having coffee and and a meet and greet with Republican leaders at the Wild Thyme Tea Room in Anamosa (Jones County). Pataki continued with various stops in Eastern Iowa including an event honoring veterans at Cedar County Courthouse Tipton Library in Tipton. He concluded speaking at a fundraiser for Clinton Mayor LaMetta Wynn for State Senate, at Maquoketa Quality Inn in Maquoketa. (more) |
