July 12, 2006--Former Virginia Gov. Mark Warner attended the grand opening of Bruce Braley's (D) new headquarters on Sycamore Street in Waterloo. Braley, an attorney, is running against entrepreneur Mike Whalen for the 1st District seat currently held by Jim Nussle (R), who is running for governor. This is seen as one of the most competitive House races in the country.
