“We support Senator John McCain because he is the right person at the
right time to lead our party and our country,” said College Republican
State Chairman Dan Carlson. “Young conservative leaders in Michigan
are inspired by his service in Vietnam, 24 year pro-life voting record,
and steadfast campaigning on behalf of Republican candidates to help save
our majorities.”
“Senator McCain’s mantra of serving an interest greater than one's self
brought an unprecedented number of new, young voters to the polls in 2000,”
said Michigan Young Republican State Chairman Mike Flory. ““His grassroots
support has grown in recent months among Michigan Republicans because he
is uniquely prepared to lead America during these difficult times."
