Regional Campaign Manager (New England - CT, ME, MA, NH, RI and VT) Jim Barnett
State director on McCain's NH primary campaign (succeeded Jim Martin, the campaign's first NH campaign manager, after Martin was dismissed in May 2007).  Barnett earlier served as the campaign's New England Regional Director.  Chairman of the Vermont Republican Party, elected May 2003, served through late Nov. 2006.  Deputy campaign manager on Jim Douglas' successful 2002 campaign for governor of Vermont, then worked on Gov. Douglas' senior staff.  Deputy Associate Director in the Presidential Personnel Office, 2001-02.  Public relations manager at Validea.com, 2000.  Senior research analyst at RNC, 1999-early 2000.  Research associate at the National Journal Group.  Junior research analyst at the RNC, 1998.  Bachelor's degree in political science (CLEG) from American University, 1998.

(announced June 2, 2008)  Most recently a legislative aide in the Maine Legislature.  Gilman has served as the House Caucus Director for the Maine Republican Party, taught political science at Thomas College in Waterville, Maine, and served as Director of Outreach and Economic Development for Sen. Olympia Snowe.  Field director for a congressional race, campaign manager of Jim Libby for Governor in 2002, and served as a Doorkeeper for the U.S. Senate Sergeant-at-Arms.  Bachelor’s degree, 1997, and law degree, 2001, from the University of Maine.
