Governor from Jan. 2003-Jan. 2007.  Executive director of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.  Served Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush as regional director of the US Department of Health and Human Services and was a member of the Colorado House of Representatives.  Taught middle school in Fort Lupton.  Graduate of Colorado State University; also holds an M.S. in management degree from Regis University.  Born and raised in Grand Junction, CO.
