USA TODAY Partners With The Politico.com For 2008 Election Coverage

McLean, Va. - USA TODAY announced that it has entered into a content-sharing partnership with The Politico and www.politico.com as part of its expanded 2008 election coverage.

Under the agreement, USA TODAY and USATODAY.com will feature selected stories from The Politico in print and online. Occasional USA TODAY stories also will appear in the pages of The Politico and on www.politico.com.

The announcement follows the launch of USA TODAY's revamped Political site (at politics.usatoday.com) and the launch of its Political blog, USA TODAY OnPolitics (onpolitics.usatoday.com) authored by veteran reporters Jill Lawrence and Mark Memmott.

"The Politico has assembled an impressive roster of political reporters and their coverage of the 2008 election will allow us to augment the already rich mix of political stories available to our readers," said Kinsey Wilson, executive editor of USA TODAY.
