Presidential
Campaign Finances-1st Quarter 2007
January 1-March 31, 2007 [to print use landscape] |
The figures on this
page do include general election funds raised by some of the campaigns
(see notes).
Below are figures from reports
amended through July 14, 2007. Figures which have changed from initial
filings in yellow shading. Generally, changes between intial
and amended filings are not too great, sometimes less than a dollar, sometimes
in the tens of thousands of dollars. There was one change which proved
noteworthy in view of subsequent events. McCain's initial filing
showed disbursements of $8,379,214.68 and cash on hand of $5,180,799.06.
His amended filing July 14 showed disbursements of $8,854,973.33 and cash
on hand of $4,705,041.21. Also, of note, in the intial filings for
instances where a candidate made a personal loan to his or her campaign
there was some inconsistency whether that was reported as a debt; in later
amended filings these are included in debts.
The Top Line (Primary
and General):
20 candidates reported $132.6 million in contributions (of which $11.6 million for the general election), $155.1 million in receipts, $49.2 million in disbursements and closing COH of $107.8 million. |
