MANCHESTER, NH -- U.S. Senator John McCain's presidential campaign today announced that the campaign has filed its entire slate of 42 delegates in the state of New Hampshire.

"John McCain is the one candidate in the field who has the experience to lead our nation, and the ability to unite the Republican Party and defeat the Democratic nominee," said Peter Spaulding, New Hampshire Chair of the McCain campaign. "This slate of 42 dedicated activists reflects the organizational strength of John's campaign here in New Hampshire. Unlike any other candidate, John McCain understands the importance of building a strong grassroots organization in the Granite State, and John respects the tradition of New Hampshire's first-in-the-nation primary, a contest he intends to win."

John McCain thanked the Republican leaders, stating, "I am encouraged and proud to have the support of so many Republican activists who are willing to dedicate their time and energy to my campaign. Their commitment has been vital to building organizational strength and momentum as we work toward victory in New Hampshire."
