On October 12, 2006 former
Gov. Mark Warner announced that he would not make a run for the White House
in 2008.

on September 22-23, 2006. Starting on the afternoon of September
22 he visited with students at Concord High School in Concord; visited
the Rochester Fair with State Senate candidates Jackie Cilley and George
Cleveland and congressional candidate Carol Shea Porter at Cold Spring
Park in Rochester; and spoke at the Strafford County Democratic Victory
Dinner at The Governor's Inn in Rochester. On September 23
he breakfasted with State Senate candidate Betsi DeVries at Belmont Hall
in Manchester. Plans to campaign
with congressional candidate Paul Hodes at Carter Hill Orchard in
Concord; and to visit with volunteers at New Hampshire Democratic Party
campaign headquarters at 379 Elm Street in Manchester were canceled
due to rain.

visited NH on August 18-19, 2006.
On August 18 he started
with a event for State Senate candidate Harold Janeway at the home of State
Rep. Christina Hamm in Hopkinton; did an event with State Senate candidate
Deb Reynolds at the Common Man Inn in Plymouth; and attended a coffee and
dessert social for the Conway Democratic Committee at the Gibson Center
in Conway. Overnight in Keene.
On August 19 he toured
downtown Keene with State Senate candidate Molly Kelly; headlined an event
with the Stoddard Democrats at Lakefalls Lodge (Shinbone Shack) in Stoddard;
attended the Annual Merrimack County Summer BBQ and Potluck Picnic at the
home of Harry Judd and Rep. Marybeth Walz in Bow; stopped in Portsmouth
to support State Senator Martha Fuller Clark; and had dinner with Governor
John Lynch.

visited NH on February 10, 2006. He toured Stonyfield
Farm in Londonderry; had private meetings with George Bruno, former Rep.
Dick Swett, and Gov. John Lynch at the Center of New Hampshire Radisson
Inn in Manchester; and then delivered the keynote address at the New Hampshire
Democratic Party's 100 Club dinner, also at the Center of New Hampshire
Radisson Inn.
2005

visited NH on November 18, 2005. He arrived in Nashua
late on the night of November 17 (earlier that day he spoke on education
at Harvard's Institute of Politics). On November 18 he participated
in an education roundtable with Gov. Lynch at Nashua High School South,
focusing on at-risk youth and dropout prevention; and spoke at a NH Senate
Democratic Caucus lunch at Puritan Backroom Restaurant in Manchester. [speech]
