May 4, 2005-- Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-NE) spoke at the "Politics and Eggs" breakfast in Bedford on the final day of a three-day trip to New Hampshire.   He opened his remarks citing his "difficult stand--tough position--straight off the top supporting the New Hampshire primary as first in the nation."  Moving to more serious matters, Hagel addressed the challenges facing the United States during "transformational times."  (transcript)   more>
