Today; you and other Nevada Democrats have a rare chance to write history with your very own hands.

I don't need to tell you that we need a new direction in America. Democrats, in Nevada and across the nation, know what must be accomplished.

We must end the war in Iraq and restore Americas standing in the world.

We must provide health care for every single American without insurance while maintaining and improving care for those with good coverage already.

We must reduce our dependence on foreign oil and invest in clean, renewable energy alternatives to create jobs.

We need leadership to stand up for the middle class and rescue our fair share of the American dream.

What Nevadans must decide is not where we go as a nation but which candidate has the experience, strength and wisdom to shape the new future Americans so desperately need.

You know me. You know my record. You have seen me tested in good times and bad. And I hope you have seen me learn and grow into the wiser and more effective leader these difficult times require.

Whomever is chosen president faces a dangerous world and daunting challenges at home. But I know America will succeed. And whatever crises may lie ahead, I know I am ready to lead.

No matter which candidate you support, thank you for coming to these caucuses to take your stand for change. Nevada is a special place with special people and I have been privileged to meet so many of you as part of this campaign.
