Re: Who is the ALP?
Yesterday,
it was reported that, a 527 group operating outside the campaign
finance limits, known as the American Leadership Project (ALP), has
purchased $700,000 dollars of television advertising time in Indiana in
advance of the May 6th primary. The ALP also had a major ad buy
in advance of the Pennsylvania primary where they aired negative,
misleading ads about Senator Barack Obama's position on health care -
an ad so misleading that the Obama campaign felt compelled to respond
to with an ad to set the record straight on the differences between the
candidates' plans.
As the ALP has promised to "to play a more substantial role in
Indiana," and given the size of their buy, we thought it may be useful
for Hoosiers to know more about just who the ALP is:
The 527 Group, the ALP,
has deep ties to the Clinton operation, And IS operated and funded by
Clinton-partisans.

change message and is clearly a superior political talent." Rivera
