Patty Murray's 2004 re-election campaign.  Worked on several statewide initiatives.  Campaign manager on State Rep. Geoff Simpson's re-election campaign.  Interned at the Washington State Labor Council.  Steele has also served in the U.S. Marine Corps, as a trucker in Seattle, and on a crab fishing boat in Alaska.  Born and raised in Edmonds.
