CUT AND RUN RUSS STUMPS FOR BRALEY
Wisconsin Senator Gives Glimpse of Braley’s Leadership Style

DES MOINES – Senator Russ Feingold (D-WI) visits Waterloo today, stumping for 1st District Democratic Congressional Candidate Bruce Braley.  Feingold brings to Iowa his ultra-liberal voting record and cut and run stance on the War in Iraq, giving voters a glimpse of the ultra-liberal, out of touch congressman Braley would be.

“Braley and Feingold share common values.  Not only do Feingold and Braley both push for a cut and run exit in Iraq and strongly support extreme left-wing abortion values, but they also propose policies typical of tax and spend liberals,” said Republican Party of Iowa Executive Director Cullen Sheehan.

Sheehan continued, “Senator Feingold has consistently shown voters that he wishes to align himself with the ultra-left and not the average voter.  By bringing in Feingold, Bruce Braley is showing Iowans the kind of Congressman he would be.”

“Come November, the voters of the 1st District will see how out of touch Bruce Braley is with their values and choose not have him be their voice in Washington,” concluded Sheehan.
