(Concord, NH) - New Hampshire Republican State Committee Chairman Wayne Semprini issued the following statement upon learning about U.S. Senator Joseph R. Biden, Jr.'s five day visit to New Hampshire.

"It's good to see that the Senator from Delaware is able to take so much time off to visit our great state.  As a U.S. Senator with Presidential ambitions, It would be interesting to know if Senator Biden supports the New Hampshire Democratic Party in their call for the impeachment of President Bush.  I would also like to know if Senator Biden will support maintaining New Hampshire's First in the Nation primary status, even though his own state has in the past attempted to infringe upon our historic tradition."
