Imperato, who describes himself as "a global business person with over 30 years of experience" announced on June 22, 2005 that he would "form a presidential exploratory committee to gauge support for a possible bid for the White House in 2008."  According to the June press release, "Imperato plans to run on a global platform promoting sound international policy, while strengthening business practices here at home for both the working and business class."  Born in Boston, MA in 1958.
