Poersch also served as DSCC executive director in the 2006 cycle.  Ohio State Director for the Kerry-Edwards campaign.  Ran Sen. Jack Reed’s (D-RI) Washington, DC office for fourteen years starting after his election to the U.S. House in 1990 and continuing with him to the Senate.  Directed Ohio Democrats' Coordinated Campaign in 2000.  Campaign manager on Scotty Baesler’s 1998 U.S. Senate campaign in Kentucky (narrowly lost to Jim Bunning).  Regional political director at the DCCC in the 1990 cycle.  Worked for the National Association of Letter Carriers.  In 1987 he joined the presidential campaign of then-Sen. Al Gore; he co-managed the campaign in Wyoming during the primaries.  Started his career in the Washington office of Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan (D-NY).  Graduate of Providence College in Rhode Island.

(started late Sept./ea. Oct. 2007)  Previously campaign services director at EMILY's List for four years.  Campaign manager on U.S. Rep. Lynn Rivers' primary campaign against U.S. Rep. John Dingell in 2002 (re-districted into one district).  Baltimore native.

Previously policy advisor for U.S. Rep. Patrick J. Kennedy (D-RI).  Graduate of Harvard Law School, 1999.
 
 
Communications Director Matthew Miller
(started Feb. 2007)  Previously commmunications director for U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) and earlier spokesman on Menendez's 2006 campaign and when he served in the House.  Florida communications director for Kerry-Edwards '04, before that worked for Public Strategies.  Graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.

Previously deputy press secretary to U.S. Sen. Bob Martinez (D-NJ).  Graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.

 
Director of Online Communications Mike Liddell
Liddell also served as director of online communications in the 2006 cycle.  Director of Internet Strategy for Joe Lieberman for President (started July 2003).  Founder of Campaign Momentum, an online communications firm based in Austin, TX, where he worked with a number of Democratic candidates including Tony Sanchez, Governor and John Sharp for Lt. Governor, and current Austin Mayor Will Wynn.  Before that he worked at Public Strategies, Inc. where he helped develop their Internet shop.
