Warner talked with supporters and answered a few questions from reporters.  Asked about Warner as a possible presidential candidate in 2008 Boyd Walker, a real estate investor from Alexandria, noted that Warner had started out with a huge deficit he inherited from Gov. Jim Gilmore (R).  "He's turned the state around," Walker stated.  "He would excite the middle and bring the country together," Walker said.  Doug Duffield, retired of Alexandria, said that Warner "works very will with both parties."  Virginia's much better off that it was four years ago,"  Duffield said.  back >
