| September 21, 2006--Former Gov. Mark Warner helped Virginia Democratic Senate nominee Jim Webb raise over $250,000 at a fundraiser at the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, VA. Democrats need to pick up six seats to regain control of the Senate and view Republican incumbent Sen. George Allen as somewhat weakened by the "macaca" incident on August 11. |
