| October 8, 2006--Former Secretary of State James A. Baker, III spoke with reporters after an appearance on ABC News' "This Week." Baker, along with former Indiana congressman Lee H. Hamilton, co-chairs the Iraq Study Group. The Iraq Study Group's report, due to be released after the November 7 mid-term elections, could provide the basis for a reassessment of Iraq policy. Baker also has a book just out titled Work Hard, Study...and Keep Out of Politics! Adventures and Lessons from an Unexpected Public Life. |
