| November 6, 2006--Coinciding with the early morning visit of Sen. George
Allen (R-VA) to the Vienna Metro Station, the two local congressmen, Rep.
Tom Davis (R-VA,11) and Rep. Frank Wolf (R-VA,10) greeted voters.
Davis, first elected in 1994, is being challenged by attorney Andrew Hurst
(D), whose supporters brought many "Supports Bush 90%" signs. Wolf,
first elected in 1980, faces a better financed challenger in Judy Feder
(D), a professor and dean of Georgetown University's Public Policy Institute. |
