November 30, 2007--Several hundred supporters of Sen. Hillary Clinton
(D-NY) lined up before the second general session at the Democratic National
Committee's Fall Meeting at the Sheraton Premier at Tysons Corner in Vienna,
VA. An activist took advantage of the gathering to collect signatures
to put Clinton on the Virginia ballot. At about 2 o'clock, however,
DNC Chairman Gov. Howard Dean announced that Clinton would not be able
to address the gathering. |
