| September 21, 2007--Former Sen. Fred Thompson (R-TN) told the audience at the NRA's Celebration of American Values conference to "check the record." Thompson recalled Charlton Heston "hobbling across the state" to help him win election to the Senate in 1994. "I will say the same things that I've been saying since 1994 and...what I say in New Hampshire I will say in Florida and all parts in between," Thompson said. |
