January 22, 2007--The 34th anniversary of the Supreme Court's Roe
v. Wade decision brought tens of thousands of demonstrators to Washington,
DC for the annual March for Life. Two presidential candidates, Sen.
Sam Brownback (R-KS) and Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA), were most active in
reaching out to these people. Among other events, both spoke at a
breakfast
reception hosted by the Susan B. Anthony List and at the Blogs
for Life conference at the Family Research Council. Brownback
formally announced his candidacy on Saturday (Jan. 20) and Hunter is scheduled
to announce on Thursday (Jan. 25). |
