January 25, 2007--Mayors attending The United States Conference of Mayors' 75th Winter Meeting welcomed Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY)'s calls for restoration of the COPS program and for strengthening the Community Development Block Grant Program. Sens. Chuck Hagel (R-NE), Joe Biden (D-DE), and Chris Dodd (D-CT) were among many other speakers who addressed the meeting. (main page)
