Bill Harris, who served as convention manager and CEO of the 2004 Republican National Convention and has been involved in the planning and management of RNC conventions since 1984, provided invaluable assistance to the Site Committee.  He is vice chairman of Global USA and president of William D. Harris and Associates.

John A. Knapp, a shareholder with Winthrop & Weinstine, worked on the site agreement which actually comprises five contracts.

Jac Sperling is chairman of the Minneapolis/St. Paul 2008 Host Committee.  He is founder of Grit Rock Ventures LLC, an investment company focused on sports, media and entertainment businesses, and vice chairman of the Minnesota Wild Hockey Club and its parent company, Minnesota Sports & Entertainment (MSE).

Cynthia Lesher is president of the Minneapolis/St. Paul 2008 Host Committee.  President and CEO of Northern States Power Company-Minnesota, an Xcel Energy company.
