May 19, 2008--Officials
from John McCain 2008 and the Republican Party of Virginia (RPV)
officially opened Virginia’s Victory ’08 Headquarters in Arlington,
VA. Among those who spoke were RPV chairman John Hagar; Delegate
Chris Saxman, Virginia co-chair of the campaign; and Rick Davis,
national campaign manager. Many volunteers were on hand as well.

Alluding to likely Democratic
nominee Sen. Obama's rally on Sunday in Portland, OR attended by 75,000
people,
Delegate Saxman said, "I recognize the challenge ahead of us--it's
daunting." But, he added, "Our philosophy is far superior."

Campaign manager Rick Davis
lauded the partnership with the Republican Party. He said the
campaign was making similar progress around the country, and its eleven
regional managers would provide for "a quick and agile campaign in the
states."
