We've heard the questions from talking
snowmen. We've gotten the crumbs that fell from Chris Matthews’ table.
Now it's our turn. It's time the candidates answer questions from the largest
voting block in America: the Values Voters.
Announcing:
The Values Voter Presidential
Debate
WHAT: The Debate that will:
-
Ask the questions that matter most to the "Values Voters" – the most influential
constituency in America.
-
Conduct a Straw Poll to find out who the Values Voters support.
-
Create a Video Voter Guide/DVD to equip the Values Voter to make an informed
choice.
WHEN & WHERE: The V2 Debate will be held September
17th, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in
downtown Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. While another date had been planned for
the Democratic candidates, they all declined.
WHO: Questions will come from 40 of our nation’s leaders
including: Paul Weyrich, founder and President of the Free Congress Foundation,
Phyllis Schlafly, founder and President of Eagle Forum, Don Wildmon, founder
and Chairman of the American Family Association, Judge Roy Moore, with
the Foundation for Moral Law, Rick Scarborough, Vision America, and Mat
Staver of Liberty Council.
How to be a part of it:
-
Join in a fast beginning TODAY. Whether you give up dessert, television
or your favorite activity or food, we need to let God know we're serious
about restoring righteous leadership to our land. Pray He uses the V²
Debate to reveal His choice.
-
Plan or come to a V² Debate Party. The Super Bowl of leadership
contests is just days away. Find resources here where you can pray
with your friends, play Values Voter Jeopardy, register your guests to
vote, and score the candidates while they face you – the Values Voters.
-
Send the questions you most want asked at the debate to f2ainfo@f2a.org.
Thanks for those who’ve already sent them, they’re great!
-
Donate to the Values Voter Debate effort! Help pave the way for
the debate that will reveal where the candidates stand on what matters
most and help produce a “Video Voter Guide” DVD of the event to distribute
throughout the country!
So, quit shaking your fist at the TV and send in the questions that you
want answered!
This isn't about partisanship. It's about values. It’s not about the
letter behind the name, rather it’s about the values of the heart and the
policies that effect the public.
All of the candidates who place our values (and our votes) as a priority
will be there. Find out where they stand Monday, September 17th!
